MAC Turquatic (13 years!), Clinique happy (almost 20), Chanel Mademoiselle (10), Byredo Gypsy Water (6 years)

2. A perfume or scent you partner with fond memories?

All the scents from The Body shop remind me of my early 20s, the phase in my life when I had just graduated from college and moved back to the Bay Area. It full of lots of highs and lows — big adjustments and lot of bumps in the road, but at the same time, I had so much fun. I wore pretty much anything you could find at The Body Shop, but my favorites were Moonflower, Dewberry, Ananya and Indian Gardenia. I wish I kept those old bottles, just so I could smell them again!

3. A scent that reminds you of summer?

Bobby brown beach or Coppertone Waterbabies Sunscreen (they pretty much have the same scent notes, ha!)

4. What does your youth smell like?

The Body shop Moonflower, YSL Paris, Gucci Envy, Gucci Rush, CK One (I didn’t wear this, but everyone around me did), Dior J’Adore ?

5. Did you ever go through a body splash phase?

For sure! I wore a lot of bath & Body works green Clover and Aloe back in the day.

Dolce & Gabbana Light Blue

Victoria’s secret Amber Romance…mostly because it’s alleged to also work as a mosquito repellent! and ya know what…? all of those old fishermen are right. It totally works! ?

Oh! lots and lots of green Clover and Aloe, and before that it was Juniper Breeze. I wasn’t really into the fruity fragrances, although everyone else around me seemed to love them. Every girl I knew in college wore country Apple. ?

1. Perfume two-a-days

This concept came about during a chat in the comments last week with Pamela (hey, Pamela!). I was feeling a bit blue that day, as well as we were speaking about the uncertainty surrounding these crazy present events. Something Pamela stated stuck with me…

This like my Sophie’s choice of statement items because I love them all! but I guess I’d opt for the shoes because they’d be lower maintenance. I’d have to reapply the statement lip throughout the day, and if I were carrying a statement bag, I’d just spend the whole day worrying about not losing it.

At least the shoes must just stay on my feet, LOL!

2. Orange blush or pink blush?

Neither! — an orange-pink blush. ?

Just once, and it was tons of fun. My friend and I went to one and painted a flying unicorn with a rainbow on its butt. ?

Hmm… I don’t mind a subtle vanilla fragrance, like MAC lipstick, but anything else I can do without. The sweet, sugary scents, in particular, make my tummy churn!

5. have you ever been hypnotized?

Yes, in high school. It was for a psychology class. They had a hypnotist come in, and a few of us volunteered to be subjects…

We mostly just did silly stuff, or so I’m told — jumping up and down on one foot and acting like a hyena. things like that.

Yes, the Amy’s, the same ones with the frozen foods and soups. turns out they also have a small chain of fast food restaurants with lots of organic, non-GMO and gluten-free fare, which are all things I don’t normally quality to fast food places with a drive through, but this place has it all…AND it has a living garden on the rooftop.

Everything on the menu is vegetarian (with vegan options, too), and everything can be bought gluten-free, which is why we ended up going there, considering that El Hub has Celiac.

What must we play??

It’s like In-n-Out, but with a vegetarian/vegan and gluten-free organic non-GMO menu, and dang if it wasn’t good. I gobbled down my burger, “The Amy,” which has two veggie patties, cheese, lettuce, tomato, grilled onions and a special sauce that tasted kinda like Thousand Island dressing. also got fries and a vanilla shake, and Connor nearly finished her mac and cheese (which she never does).

El Hub was a little disappointed by his burrito, because it was smaller than he hoped, and he said it tasted like a frozen burrito, but he was still overjoyed to have found a fast food gluten-free place.

So, yeah, we’ll go back next time we’re in the neighborhood.

If you’re ever up in Sonoma County, it’s worth making a pit stop.

GAHHH. I guess for this moment in time, I’d opt for the tinted moisturizer, considering that it’s much easier and would be the one I’d be a lot of likely to get hold of first.

Obdivujem, ako ľudia prispôsobili “novej normálnej”. Bolo to veľa zvládnuť, ale ľudia urobia to, čo musia urobiť. Početné malé spoločnosti tiež prichádzajú s niektorými pozoruhodnými nápadmi, aby sa ich miesta udržali, ako napríklad Connor’s Dance Studio. Nemohli držať svoj ročný jarný tanec odôvodnenie vo veľkom divadle, ako to, ako oni, takže pred niekoľkými týždňami boli inštruktori vzali rutiny vonku vo vozidle parkovisko v zadnej časti štúdia.
